The blusher can work wonders. With its help, you can revive, slimmer or widen the face. We will show you in simple drawings how to apply blush depending on your face shape.
How to choose the right color of pink to be able to model the shape of the face?
First of all – it must look natural on the skin. A perfectly matched shade looks like a blush after yoga training on the skin. Freshly.
The general rule is that blondes and owners of pale skin should choose shades rosegirls with brown hair – brown tonessuch as terracotta or brick. Brunettes – shadespink or rosewood color. For beginners – regardless of hair color – we recommend playing with coral or salmon. These shades “forgive” the mistakes of an untrained hand, such as this one pink is universal and will suit any type of beauty and face shape:
Blush – round face
All make-up artists confirm this – wisely applied blush shapes the face oval and allows you to cover up imperfections. Importantly, the blush we use to model the face should be MATTE and browner than red. Bronzing powder WITHOUT shiny particles will also work great here, e.g. this one:
A round face often appears flat and its contours blurred.
Apply the blush with a powder brush or with your finger at ear level and lead it downwards to the corner of the mouth. Important: The line should slightly widen under the cheekbone. Also lightly brush the temples (fine line). Contrast at eye level also allows you to structure the face.
Blush – square face
Square-faced women often complain that their oval appears masculine. A little pink in the right place will soften the facial features and give it soft, feminine lines.
For a square face, it is disadvantageous to accentuate the cheeks and chin.
With this face shape, the blush should be placed on the outer edges of the face. The spot of color should widen at the level of the nose. The color must not be as high as the chin.
Blush – oval face
Is your face oval? Congratulations! This face shape is perfect! In this case, blush can only be used to give the face freshness.
There are practically none. The perfect proportions of the face look good on their own, so there is no problem with applying the blush.
Apply the blush directly on the cheekbones – under the eyes. The spot of color should narrow towards the temples. A small amount of pink on the hairline above the temples will emphasize the beautiful proportions of the face.
Blush – face oblong
An oblong face needs a horizontal extension. Here, pink will be perfect.
A face like that always seems too narrow.
Apply the blush to the cheekbones with horizontal lines from the nose towards the ears.
