Oppo is building a solid reputation thanks to its increasingly high-performance smartphones. Not long ago, we had the opportunity to test Find X5 Pro, the spearhead in the manufacturer’s portfolio. We liked it, it was interesting, and those interested will have the opportunity to get their hands on it since the flagship was officially launched in Europe.
Today’s news will focus on completing the line-up with two models from the Reno 7 range, the launch of which was presented in Prague. Both smartphones feature serious hardware and advanced photo features, so let’s take a look at them and see what we’re up to.
Oppo Reno7 Lite 5G
The Reno7 Lite 5G features a 64 MP high-resolution main camera, a 2 MP macro camera, a 2 MP depth camera and a 16 MP front camera, along with a number of innovative imaging features, such as be Bokeh Flare Portrait, Selfie HDR, AI Palettes, AI Color Portrait and Portrait Retouching. Bokeh Flare Portrait allows users to capture portrait images with light-rich bokeh points, just like a state-of-the-art DSLR camera.
Continuing the line of the ultra-slim and sleek design of the Reno series, the Reno7 Lite 5G smartphone introduces two new colors: Rainbow Spectrum and Cosmic Black. Rainbow Spectrum uses a two-layer coating technique, with a top gradient with a color gradient, which includes red, yellow and green, and a base that contains a layer of reflective indium. Together, these layers create an iridescent, evolving, six-color effect that makes the transition on the back of the smartphone. Reno7 Lite 5G marks OPPO’s Dual Orbit Lights debut, discreetly integrated behind the two main cameras, signaling either the charging process, an incoming call, an unread notification or the launch of a video game.
Admittedly, both look great, and even though the Cosmic Black version is my favorite, as tradition dictates, this Rainbow Spectrum strikes me as quite appealing and interesting, and not infrequently I found myself juggling the phone just to put it in different angles from which to admire its colors.
OPPO also unveiled the Reno7 5G, a high-performance portrait expert. With outstanding triple camera setup and portrait enhancements such as Portrait Mode and Bokeh Flare Portrait Video, the Reno7 5G takes clear, professional, DSLR-like photos and videos. Available in Startrails Blue and Starry Black, along with a constantly evolving OPPO Glow, the phone offers the stunning look and comfortable experience that have become the hallmarks of the Reno series. The smartphone works on a MediaTek Dimensity 900 5G SoC processor with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB ROM, which ensures a smooth, fast and efficient performance.
With ColorOS 12 pre-installed, both Reno7 5G and Reno7 Lite 5G users can benefit from additional features such as Air GesturesAI System Booster, Quick StartupGame Focus Mode and AI Frame Rate Stabilizer, which offers a fluid and captivating entertainment. Security and privacy are ensured at the operating system level through ColorOS 12 and certified by third parties such as ISO and ePrivacy. Other privacy options include protection of notifications to the eyes, which hides the detailed notifications if the smartphone detects that someone else is looking at the phone screen when the messages appear.
